WHOLE WHEAT QUICK VEGETARIAN PIZZA RECIPE:
Whole wheat quick vegetarian pizza recipe is a simple recipe to make vegetarian, simple and healthy pizza with daily ingredients. You can also mix rye, spices and herbs in the dough to give flavor to your bread. You can also garnish with olives, parsley leaves, sweet boiled corn, thinly sliced zucchini, spinach leaves etc. Serve the slices of pizza with soup, salad, pasta, etc.

Whole wheat quick vegetarian pizza recipe is a healthy recipe made from 100% whole wheat pizza dough giving us healthy and delicious pizzas home-cooked in no time!

     

 

Ingredients:
For Base:
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 teaspoon sugar
One teaspoon active dry yeast
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oil to grease

For Sauce:
4 tomato
1 onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoon garlic, crushed, dry/fresh
1 teaspoon oregano, crushed, dry/fresh
One teaspoon basil, crushed
½ teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon olive oil
One teaspoon vinegar

For Toppings:
1 tablespoon butter
5 tablespoon Mozzarella cheese, grated
3 tablespoon cream cheese
2 teaspoon garlic, crushed, dry/fresh
1 teaspoon oregano, crushed, dry/fresh
4 sliced mushroom, diced
½ onion, diced
1 tomato, de-seeded, diced
One capsicum, de-seeded, diced

Method:
For Sauce:
Put tomatoes in a pan, cover them with water.
Let them boil for 20 minutes.
Cool and remove peel and make paste.
In a pan, heat oil and saute onion till pink in color.
Add tomato paste, garlic, oregano, basil, sugar and vinegar.
Mix all together and simmer for 5 minutes.
Keep it aside.

Put sugar in water and mix it well.
Put yeast in water, mix well and keep for 10 minutes so that it becomes thick solution.
Mix salt in the flour, and add water little by little.
Knead it to make sticky dough.
Keep kneading till dough becomes non-sticky and soft.
Proof dough by keeping it for 30 minutes to 1 hour, until it double in size.
Knead the dough again for 1-2 minutes.
Take a 10 inch diameter baking tray or 4X10 bowl, grease it a little.
Place dough in the tray/bowl and spread it to give it the shape the tray/bowl.
Raise the edges a little so that it can contain sauce and toppings.
Apply butter on top surface of the dough.
Spread Sauce and arrange vegetables.
Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese, garlic and oregano.
Garnish with creamy cheese.
Preheat oven at 200 degree F/100 degree C
Put the tray inside oven and let it bake for 10 minutes.
Cut into portions and serve.
