TOMATO CHUTNEY RECIPE

Ingredients:
500 gm tomatoes
1/2 cup onions, chopped
250 gm sugar
4 garlic cloves, crushed
½ inch ginger, crushed
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Boil whole tomatoes for 10 minutes and let them cool. Remove skin and cut tomatoes into small pieces.
On the side, heat oil in a pan, add onions, ginger, garlic and cook till they are golden.
Mix tomatoes, salt and sugar and cook to a thick consistency.
Add salt, chilli powder, garam masala , vinegar and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
You can store the chutney in tight lid jars after it cools down.
