Ingredients:
2 cup gram flour (besan)
1.5 cup curd (little sour if possible)
2 medium size onions
Oil for deep frying
1 tablespoon coriander seeds
One tablespoon fenugreek seeds (methi)
6 whole black pepper
2 bay leaves (tej patta)
Two cloves
2 teaspoon red chillies
Two teaspoon garam masala
2 green chillies (to taste)
4 leaves of green coriander
Salt to taste

Method:
Curry:
1. Add ½ cup gram flour (besan) to curd little by little and whisk it well.
2. Make thin slices of onions.
3. Take a pressure cooker and heat 3 tablespoon oil in it.
4. Add 1 tablespoon coriander seeds, 1 tablespoon fenugreek (methi) seeds, 1 teaspoon whole black pepper, 2 bay leaves (tej patta), 2 cloves and stir for a minute
5. Add less than half of sliced onions and let it cook till it is pink.
6. Sieve gram flour (besan) and curd mixute to the pressure cooker.
7. Add 1.5 cups of water, salt, 1 teaspoon red chillies and 1 teaspoon garam masala to it.
8. Close the lid and let it whistle 5-6 times.

Pakoras:
9. Make pakoras, by mixing salt, 1 teaspoon red chillies and 1 teaspoon garam masala to the remaining gram flour (besan).
10. Add remaining onions and mix.
11. Add little water to make paste for pakoras which is not too thick and not too thin.
12. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.
13. Make small size dumplings in oil. Cook for 1-2 minutes till they are cooked from inside and take them out. Turn off the heat.

Serving:
14. Pour some Kadhi from the pressure cooker to a serving bowl.
15. Add pakoras to that. Garnish with green chillies and green coriander leaves.
16. Serve with steamed rice or Indian breads and salads.
