Ingredients: ½ inch raw ginger 5 leaves of mint ½ inch raw turmeric 5 curry leaves 2 leaves of basil ½ teaspoon lemon juice Sugar to taste, preferably jaggery or brown sugar
Method: 1. Take 2 cups of water in a pan. 2. Crush and add ginger, turmeric, mint, basil and curry leaves. 3. Boil for about 15 minutes till the water reduces to about 1 cup. 4. Add lemon juice and sugar (optional). Mix well. 5. Sieve in a cup and drink slowly.
