Coconut Banana Smoothie Recipe is a great smoothie with a lot of health benefits. It is an energy booster. If you want to keep it lighter you can avoid the almonds/pistachio or add lesser quantity. You could also add a teaspoon of oats if you like. Pistachio will give your smoothie a slightly greenish color. To create a variation you could also add the food color of your choice.

Ingredients
1 x Frozen peeled banana.
Teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
1 x Coconut Water with flesh.
¼ cup raw almonds or pistachio.
4 big ice cubes crushed.
For toppings, you can use chopped almonds or pistachio.

Method
1. Soak almonds for 8 to 10 hours to remove its covering.
2. Put the banana into the freezer. And use when preparing.
2. Take out the covering of the almonds when they are soft. Put in blender and smoothen it, then add banana and all the other ingredients.
3. Blend all the ingredients at normal speed for 2 minutes.
4. Once it looks good, put at high speed for 30 seconds.
5. Pour into a large glass.
6. Garnish with almonds or pistachio or any herb of your choice.
9. Serve.
