THE IDEA OF MARCH HAD GONE,
AND THE SCHOOL GATES CLOSED BEHIND US ALL.

MR. MODI CIRCUMSPECTS THE SITUATION,
AND CAME DOWN WITH THE LOCKDOWN AS A SOLUTION.

NOW THAT I BEGAN TO DAWDLE AROUND,
BUT SOON DAILY ASSIGNMENTS FROM SKV STARTED TO SURROUND.

SPENDING HOURS HELPING MY MOM MADE ME FEEL COMPLACENT,
BUT STAYING AT HOME ALL DAY LONG MADE ME IMPATIENT.
I EVEN SAT WITH MY FATHER TO LEARN SOME BUSINESS TACTICS,
REST OF THE DAY WAS PASSED WATCHING NETFLIX.

ABOVE ALL IT IS NOTEWORTHY TO PRAY TO THE ALMIGHTY,
AS HE IS THE ONE WHO KEEPS US SAFE AND HEALTHY.

Basic alternatives to common phrases
NO RUNNING – instead say – WALK, PLEASE
DON’T THROW – instead say – KEEP IT ON THE GROUND
DON’T TOUCH – instead say – HANDS TO YOURSELF
NO HITTING – instead say – GENTLE TOUCHES
STOP YELLING- instead say – QUIET VOICE. PLEASE
Adding ‘please’ to any phrase sets a great example for the child

For positive parenting you can also try
1. Create a safe, interesting environment
2. Have a positive learning environment
3. Use assertive discipline
4. Have realistic expectations
5. Take care of yourself as parents
